AI Evaluation Expert (Croatian)

The work

You will evaluate AI-generated Croatian content and help improve its language quality, accuracy, and reliability. Your work will cover general knowledge, customer support, education, conversational writing, translation, and localization tasks.

• Review Croatian responses for grammar, spelling, fluency, meaning, tone, register, cultural fit, and prompt adherence.
• Find mistranslations, unclear or unnatural wording, terminology problems, logical inconsistencies, factual errors, bias, and unsafe or misleading content.
• Write Croatian prompts, reference answers, rewrites, and model responses.
• Rate and compare multiple responses for correctness, meaning preservation, register, terminology, safety, and overall quality.
• Explain clearly why a language or reasoning issue needs improvement.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, part-time contract role for freelancers in Croatia. The role is listed as entry level, but it calls for detailed Croatian language knowledge and careful written judgment.

• Pay: Up to $25 per hour.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Location: Remote work open to candidates in Croatia.
• Languages: Fluent Croatian and professional English proficiency at C1 level or above.
• Knowledge: Strong command of Croatian grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, cases, declension, conjugation, aspect, word order, tone, and style.
• Register skills: Ability to work with formal, neutral, conversational, professional, educational, and public-facing Croatian.
• Helpful background: A degree or equivalent experience in linguistics, Croatian language or literature, communications, journalism, translation, or a related field.
• Relevant experience: Writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, education, or rubric-based evaluation.
