Privacy policy

What we collect

• Analytics: we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and the site that sent you. We don't use it for advertising and don't send it your name or email.
• Vercel Web Analytics: our host also counts page views without cookies. It sees the page, referrer, country, device and browser, and doesn't identify you or follow you across sites.
• Apply clicks: when you click through to a role, we log which role, the page you came from and your country (from our host), to count referrals. Not your IP address or identity.
• Pay reports: anonymous. We store a salted hash of your IP address only to limit spam; it can't be turned back into the address.
• Job alerts: your email and the filters you picked, used only to send alerts. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Featured projects: the company details you submit. Payment goes through Lemon Squeezy, which handles card data. We never see card numbers.
• Server logs: our host, Vercel, keeps standard request logs (including IP addresses) for security and debugging.

What stays on your device

• Saved roles and theme: stored in your browser's local storage. We never receive them.
• Scam check: runs in your browser. The text you paste never leaves your device.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the site: Vercel (hosting and cookie-free analytics), Neon (database), Google (analytics), Resend (alert emails) and Lemon Squeezy (payments for featured projects). We don't sell or share personal information for advertising, and we have no ad trackers.

When you leave for an AI training platform, its own privacy policy applies. Some links include our referral code, which the platform may use to credit us; the platform, not us, decides what it collects.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.
• Unsubscribe from alerts with the link in any alert email.
• To see, correct or delete anything tied to your email, write to the contact address on our About page. We'll answer within 30 days.

If you live in California or another state with a privacy law, you have the right to know what we hold about you, to have it deleted, and not to be treated differently for asking. We don't sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Retention and children

Alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Click and pay report records are kept to build long-run pay statistics and contain no names or emails. Google Analytics data is kept for no more than 14 months. The site is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
