Is this AI job offer a scam?

Scammers borrow the names of real AI training platforms. The FTC counted about 20,000 reports of job “task scams” in the first half of 2024, up from about 5,000 in all of 2023. Paste the message to check it against the warning signs.

Three rules that catch almost every scam

  1. Real platforms never charge you. No activation fee, starter kit, deposit or “unlock” payment, ever.
  2. They hire on their own site. Not WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal, and not a recruiter's Gmail.
  3. Check the address yourself. Type the platform's domain into your browser instead of clicking the link you were sent.
