AI Reviewer (Indonesian)

The Work

You will review Indonesian-language content used to train and evaluate AI systems. The work combines careful reading, expert writing, and clear explanations of why a response works or needs improvement.

• Create or improve responses in Indonesian and explain your reasoning clearly.
• Review source materials and AI-generated outputs against project guidelines.
• Explain your judgments in English so feedback can improve model behavior.
• Maintain consistent quality across repeated review tasks.
• Spot subtle meaning changes, awkward literal translations, unsupported claims, and phrasing that does not fit the culture or audience.
• Handle formal and informal Indonesian, business writing norms, and slang only when appropriate for the audience and platform.

What It Pays And Takes

This is a remote contractor role with part-time work across time zones. Previous AI training experience is not required, but language-focused professional experience and strong Indonesian and English skills are essential.

• Pay: $20 per hour.
• Estimated project earnings: $3,200 based on the schedule and duration shown on OpenTrain.
• Time: 20+ hours per week.
• Location: Open to candidates in Indonesia.
• Languages: Professional Indonesian proficiency in reading and writing, plus strong professional English proficiency at C1 or higher.
• Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, Indonesian or English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: At least 3 years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, journalism, education, or related language-focused work.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indonesian grammar, spelling conventions including EYD/PUEBI, punctuation, and style, with the ability to explain and correct errors.
• Preferred background: Experience with AI data training or annotation, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
• Work style: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow guidelines consistently across repeated review tasks.
