Audio Transcription Expert (Portuguese)

The Work

You will transcribe and annotate Portuguese audio recordings, including conversational and formal speech. You will preserve context and speaker details while reviewing transcripts for accuracy, completeness, clarity, and consistency.

The work also includes correcting errors, resolving unclear passages, using transcription tools, and submitting completed files. You will provide language and cultural insight that helps improve AI systems and coordinate with project managers and other experts on consistent work.

• Transcribe and annotate Portuguese audio recordings.
• Review conversational and formal speech while preserving context and speaker details.
• Edit and validate transcripts for completeness, clarity, and consistency.
• Find and correct transcription errors, ambiguities, and inconsistencies.
• Process and submit work using transcription tools and platforms.
• Evaluate audio where meaning depends on context or subtle language differences.

What It Pays And Takes

This is a part-time contract role for someone with professional audio transcription experience and strong Portuguese and English skills. The role is listed as entry level, but relevant transcription or linguistic project experience is expected.

• Pay: $10 to $18 per hour equivalent, paid per task.
• Time: 20+ hours per week.
• Languages: Professional fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English for occasional English audio and project instructions.
