AutoCAD Task Creation And Recording Specialist

The Work

You will create practical AutoCAD tasks that reflect real drafting, design, documentation, engineering, architecture, and technical drawing work. You will prepare the files and references, record yourself completing each workflow, and explain the task clearly.

Your recordings and documentation should show how a real user completes the work. You will also review your materials for completeness, clarity, realism, and alignment with project guidelines.

• Create realistic and appropriately challenging AutoCAD tasks.
• Prepare drawings, templates, assets, references, and other files before recording.
• Record complete, understandable AutoCAD workflows on your computer.
• Demonstrate 2D drafting, drawing setup, layers, lineweights, dimensions, blocks, layouts, viewports, title blocks, plotting, annotations, xrefs, and drawing cleanup where relevant.
• Document the task context, goals, steps, files, and notes.
• Review recordings and documentation for quality, clarity, and completeness.

What It Pays And Takes

This is a part-time contractor role for someone with practical AutoCAD experience. The role is listed as entry level, but you must already be comfortable with the AutoCAD features and workflows used in the work.

• Pay: $25 to $30 per hour in USD.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Work type: Part-time contractor.
• Location: Open to candidates in Bangladesh, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, and the United States.
• Language: English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Required: Hands-on AutoCAD experience with drafting, technical drawings, layouts, annotation, dimensions, plotting, or related CAD workflows.
• Required: Strong working knowledge of model space, paper space, layers, lineweights, blocks, dimensions, annotations, layouts, viewports, and plotting.
• Required: Ability to design realistic CAD tasks and explain their intended workflow clearly.
• Required: Comfort managing files, preparing templates and references, and recording software workflows.
• Required: Attention to detail, reliable self-direction, and consistent quality in remote contractor work.
• Helpful: Background in architecture, engineering, drafting, construction documentation, design, or other technical computer-based workflows.
