The Work
You will read PDF and DOCX files, extract structured information, and enter it into an annotation panel using a defined JSON schema. Documents may include legal contracts, patents, financial records, compliance documents, and other business materials.
Each task includes three AI-generated draft outputs. You will choose the strongest draft, check every field against the source document, fix errors or missing information, and make sure the final result is accurate and complete.
- Read source PDF and DOCX documents carefully before extracting information.
- Follow JSON schemas with required and optional fields, data types, arrays, objects, and nested structures.
- Select and edit the best AI-generated draft instead of starting from scratch.
- Check every extracted field against the source document.
- Capture repeated or changing entries, such as line items and multiple clauses.
- Set genuinely missing required fields to null when the schema requires it.
- Write original summaries in your own words when the schema calls for them.
What It Pays and Takes
This is intermediate-level, part-time contractor work. It suits people who can carefully review detailed documents and apply structured data rules consistently.
- Pay: $8.00 to $11.20 USD per hour.
- Time: Less than 20 hours per week.
- Work type: Part-time contract project.
- Location: Open to candidates in the countries listed for this role.
- Relevant subject areas: law, finance, accounting, compliance, data analytics, and JSON.
- You should be comfortable reading detailed documents, following schemas, and checking information with high accuracy.
