The work

You will create realistic Google Sheets tasks based on business, administration, finance, operations, sales, education, or data analysis scenarios. You will prepare sample data, reference materials, files, and permissions before recording each workflow.

You will document the task context, goal, steps, and acceptance criteria, then record yourself completing the task in a browser. You will review every recording and its documentation to make sure the workflow is realistic, complete, reproducible, and aligned with project guidelines.

  • Record workflows using formulas, functions, filters, sorting, charts, pivot tables, dashboards, data validation, and conditional formatting.
  • Capture collaboration, reporting, and data import or export workflows when they are relevant to the task.
  • Organize files, browser tabs, Google Drive materials, and permissions before recording.
  • Check recordings and written instructions for clarity, completeness, and accuracy.

What it pays and takes

This is an entry-level, part-time contractor role, but strong practical Google Sheets experience is the main qualification. Additional experience in administration, sales, finance, operations, education, data analysis, coding, or reporting is helpful.

  • Pay: $15 USD per hour.
  • Time: 20+ hours per week.
  • Location: Applicants must be based in Bangladesh, India, or Pakistan.
  • Language: English at B2 level or higher.
  • Experience: Hands-on use of Google Sheets for spreadsheets, formulas, reporting, data cleaning, collaboration, dashboards, or business workflows.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of functions, filters, sorting, charts, conditional formatting, data validation, pivot tables, sharing, and worksheet organization.
  • Tools: Comfort with computers, browser-based tools, Google Drive, files, tabs, permissions, and screen recording software.
  • Work style: Follow detailed instructions, apply quality guidelines consistently, communicate clearly, and work independently with close attention to detail.
