The Work
You will review AI-generated iOS code, mobile architectures, and technical explanations. You will judge whether each response is correct, clear, secure, reliable, performant, and aligned with the prompt.
You will also create detailed prompts, write reference implementations and step-by-step answers, fact-check technical information, and compare several AI responses to identify the strongest solution.
- Review iOS code and explanations across UIKit, SwiftUI, concurrency, memory management, threading, networking, persistence, and build and release practices.
- Find implementation problems, unsafe recommendations, reliability risks, and failures in real-world iOS use cases.
- Write high-quality reference answers and detailed prompts covering a range of iOS engineering topics.
- Rate and compare AI responses using clear engineering judgment.
- Check technical claims and explain why one solution is stronger than another.
What It Pays and Takes
This is an intermediate-level, part-time contractor role for people with production iOS experience. The work requires strong technical judgment and clear English communication.
- Pay: $40-$110 per hour, paid in USD.
- Time: 20 or more hours per week.
- Location: Applicants must be based in Germany, India, Thailand, the United States, Timor-Leste, or Vietnam.
- Language: English.
- Core experience: Production iOS application development with Swift and ideally Objective-C.
- Swift knowledge: Generics, protocols, error handling, and modern language features.
- iOS systems: App lifecycle, navigation, state management, and background execution limits.
- Concurrency: GCD, OperationQueue, async/await, race conditions, and thread safety.
- Reliability and security: ARC, retain cycles, memory leaks, networking, testing, Keychain, and privacy-sensitive data handling.
- Work style: Clear English writing and a methodical, detail-oriented approach to reviewing technical work.
- Helpful experience: XCTest, UI testing, CI/CD, Fastlane, App Store release practices, offline-first design, caching, persistence, and debugging production iOS bugs.
- Previous AI data training, annotation, or AI output evaluation experience is helpful but not required.
