The work
You will turn real legal and compliance workflows into realistic tasks used to evaluate AI systems. The work focuses on practical judgment, careful reading, and reasoning across several documents rather than simple information lookup.
- Design tasks based on contract review, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and risk analysis.
- Write clear instructions and assemble agreements, policy documents, regulatory texts, and diligence files.
- Set objective grading criteria so qualified reviewers can reach consistent conclusions.
- Create tasks that require cross-document reasoning and judgment when requirements conflict.
- Identify tasks that are ambiguous or cannot be graded reliably before submission.
- Deliver approved tasks on schedule and at the required quality level.
What it pays and takes
This is a fully remote, project-based contractor role. Each approved task is expected to require about 10 hours, and the role is marked for less than 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $45 to $90 per hour.
- Work type: Project-based contract work.
- Location: Remote, with eligibility limited to the countries specified for this role across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
- Experience: At least five years of hands-on responsibility in contract review, due diligence, regulatory compliance, or risk work.
- Background: Experience creating or using review checklists, diligence protocols, compliance frameworks, playbooks, or training assessments.
- Skills: Ability to reason across multiple documents and identify inconsistencies.
- Language: Strong written and spoken English at B2 level or above; C1 is preferred.
- Helpful but not required: A law degree and bar admission, an equivalent compliance qualification, or experience evaluating AI or LLM outputs against defined criteria.
- Professional approach: Direct practitioner ownership of the work, rather than supervisory-only or adjacent experience.
