The Work

You will oversee quality across Urdu AI training projects. This includes reviewing AI-generated Urdu content and trainer or QA submissions, checking work against project guidelines and rubrics, and giving clear written feedback.

You will also help trainers and QAs follow consistent standards, answer questions about Urdu usage, and improve the workflows used for language quality review.

  • Review Urdu AI training content and trainer or QA submissions for accuracy and consistency.
  • Check grammar, spelling, tone, register, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction-following, formatting, and rubric adherence.
  • Assess Urdu wording, translation fidelity, cultural context, right-to-left formatting, Nastaliq script conventions, and Pakistan versus India usage.
  • Give precise written feedback and escalate recurring or critical quality issues.
  • Share project updates, workflow changes, and quality expectations with trainers and QAs.
  • Create and maintain style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
  • Support onboarding and training calls for trainers and QAs.
  • Help identify workflow improvements and build scalable Urdu QA processes.

What It Pays and Takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role for an expert-level contributor. The work requires strong Urdu language judgment, careful documentation, and the ability to support people working on quality-focused AI projects.

  • Pay: $30 per hour.
  • Time: 20+ hours per week.
  • Work arrangement: Remote contractor role.
  • Open to candidates in India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
  • Language skills: Fluent Urdu with strong reading and writing skills, plus strong English for guidelines, communication, and feedback.

  • Quality skills: Strong knowledge of Urdu grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, cultural context, Nastaliq script conventions, and right-to-left formatting.
  • You must be able to judge whether Urdu content is natural, accurate, culturally appropriate, and aligned with detailed rubrics.
  • Experience supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
  • Tools: Comfort with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management tools.
  • Helpful background: A degree in Urdu, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or a related field.

About AI Training Work

AI training work uses human review to help artificial intelligence produce better answers, translations, and other content. Experienced language reviewers are important because they can spot problems with accuracy, meaning, tone, and cultural context that automated checks may miss.
