The Work

You will evaluate realistic SaaS revenue operations scenarios and explain the practical choices behind CRM and process decisions. The work involves reviewing written scenarios, identifying risks, and clearly explaining your reasoning for technical and non-technical audiences.

You will focus on policy conflicts, compliance constraints, workflow design, and revenue data quality. You will also identify unclear requirements and communicate uncertainty instead of making unsupported assumptions.

  • Analyze CRM data models, process designs, and configuration tradeoffs.
  • Decide which operational policy should take priority when rules conflict.
  • Identify which processes or settings should remain unchanged.
  • Design workflows that account for approvals, access controls, compliance, and auditability.
  • Diagnose duplicate records, broken lifecycle states, inconsistent metrics, and other revenue data problems.
  • Explain root-cause investigation and prevention approaches.
  • Identify ambiguous or incomplete scenarios and describe the uncertainty clearly.

What It Pays and Takes

This is a remote contractor role with flexible scheduling and part-time availability.

  • Pay: $50 to $100 per hour.
  • Location: Open to candidates in the United States or Canada.
  • Work arrangement: Remote, flexible scheduling, and part-time contract work.
  • Language: English proficiency is required.
  • Experience: At least four years of hands-on experience in SaaS revenue, sales, customer success, or implementation operations.
  • CRM experience: Direct configuration ownership in Salesforce, HubSpot, or a comparable CRM, including fields, workflows, automation, or validation rules.
  • Systems experience: Experience with at least two connected systems, such as billing, CPQ, ticketing, or project-tracking tools.
  • Required strengths: Sound judgment when policies conflict, clear tradeoff explanations, and strong written and verbal communication.
  • Helpful background: Experience in fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or complex multi-product environments.
