About this role OpenTrain is recruiting a Senior Insurance Claims Review Specialist to support AI training through expert review of real-world insurance claim scenarios. You will assess disputed-fault auto incidents, property and catastrophe damage, and contents claims, then provide professional determinations and the reasoning an adjuster would document. The work combines insurance judgment with review of video recordings, written statements, aerial roof imagery, catastrophe photographs, and contents photographs. This is a remote contractor role paying $20‑$60 per hour.

What you will do Review disputed-fault auto claims using video evidence, written statements, and supporting documentation. Assess property and catastrophe-related damage from aerial roof imagery and catastrophe photographs to determine liability and loss. Evaluate contents claims through photographic evidence and prepare valuation and inventory assessments. Draft clear determination reports that reflect the documentation standards of licensed adjusters. Apply comparative-fault and liability principles to produce precise, defensible claim outcomes. Communicate findings and rationale through concise professional written and verbal feedback. Contribute insurance claims data and insights that help improve AI system accuracy and reliability.

Required skills At least five years of insurance claims management experience focused on auto liability, property, catastrophe, and contents assessment. Demonstrated experience with comparative-fault determinations and complex liability analysis. Ability to interpret photographic, video, and aerial imagery in an insurance claims context. Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical reasoning clearly. A record of producing thorough claim documentation and valuation reports. Ability to work independently in a remote, technology-enabled environment.

Helpful background An active state adjuster license or credentials such as AIC, CPCU, HAAG, or ACTAR are valuable for this work. Experience with disputed-fault decisions based on dashcam, scene, or witness footage is also relevant.
