The Work

You will help train AI systems to handle tax and audit topics correctly. Your work will include reviewing model answers, writing expert content, comparing responses, and explaining the right approach in clear, defensible terms.

You will assess accuracy, completeness, clarity, compliance logic, audit methodology, risk assessment, internal controls, and links to financial reporting.

• Review AI-generated tax and audit answers for accuracy, reasoning quality, and completeness.
• Write feedback that identifies errors in tax treatment, audit methods, compliance logic, and unsupported conclusions.
• Create detailed prompts, gold-standard answers, technical explanations, and model solutions.
• Rank multiple AI responses by correctness, clarity, and practical usefulness.
• Check outputs for unsafe or noncompliant guidance, bias, weak financial reporting links, and inconsistent conclusions.
• Evaluate tax scenarios, audit programs, workpaper examples, control assessments, and related technical content.

What It Pays And Takes

This is hourly, remote contractor work for an expert who can work independently and deliver consistent quality on specialized AI training tasks.

• Pay: $40 to $80 USD per hour, with rates varying by country and reaching up to $80 per hour in some locations.
• Workload: 20 or more hours per week.
• Engagement: Part-time contractor work with flexibility across time zones.
• Location: Remote, hiring in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Cambodia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, Timor-Leste, the United States, and Vietnam.
• Language: Minimum C1 English proficiency.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of professional tax and/or audit experience in public accounting, advisory, internal audit, or industry.
• Knowledge: Taxable income adjustments, credits, deductions, nexus or permanent establishment, withholding, VAT or GST, audit planning, materiality, risk assessment, control testing, substantive procedures, sampling, and audit evidence.
• Skills: Prepare or review clear workpapers, reconciliations, and documentation, with careful fact-checking.
• Preferred credentials: CPA, ACCA, EA, CIA, or a local equivalent.
• Preferred background: AI data training, audit quality assurance, tax technical writing, policy interpretation, internal controls, or SOX concepts.
