The Work

You will help improve AI systems that answer questions about veterans health care. You will use your VA enrollment, eligibility, or care coordination experience to judge whether questions are realistic and whether generated answers are accurate, useful, complete, and current.

The work includes reviewing sample questions, creating clear rubrics for correct answers, evaluating AI responses against those rubrics, and giving precise written feedback asynchronously.

  • Identify questions that do not reflect realistic concerns from veterans or family members.
  • Create rubrics covering VA health care eligibility, enrollment, priority groups, income and means testing, care coordination, community care, the MISSION Act, and access to care.
  • Find errors, missing information, and outdated guidance in AI-generated answers.

What It Pays And Takes

This is a short-term, part-time contractor project for a United States-based specialist. The listing is marked entry level, but the role requires practical VA health care experience and at least one year in relevant work.

  • Pay: $30 to $50 per hour.
  • Schedule: Approximately 20 to 30 hours per week.
  • Work style: Asynchronous.
  • Location: Open to candidates in the United States.
  • Language: Professional fluency in English.
  • Required experience: Former VA enrollment, eligibility, or care coordination experience, or experience as a VA social worker.
  • Required knowledge: VA health care enrollment, eligibility determinations, care coordination, priority groups, income and means testing, and community care.
  • Required skills: Clear written communication and careful evaluation of health care guidance.
  • Helpful background: Veteran outreach, helping veterans apply for health care, creating guides or training materials, or supporting rural clients and clients who use other languages.
