The work
You will help improve AI systems by creating difficult chemistry questions and reviewing the answers they produce. Your reviews will focus on scientific accuracy, logical consistency, chemical validity, and the quality of the reasoning.
The work may cover organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, materials, and computational chemistry. You will identify subtle errors and explain clearly how technical responses could be improved.
- Design chemistry questions that test technical problem-solving and subject knowledge.
- Review AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and chemical validity.
- Check explanations against reaction mechanisms, experimental design, and data interpretation.
- Write clear expert feedback to improve AI understanding of chemistry.
- Use independent judgment when reviewing complex scientific content.
What it pays and takes
This is an hourly contract role with flexible, asynchronous participation during active projects. The opportunity is marked for 20 or more hours per week, while most contributors work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week when a project is available.
