  • Create rubrics for correct and complete answers about new applications, renewals, replacements, forms, fees, and processing options.
  • Set evaluation standards for identity and citizenship documents, photo requirements, and applications for minors.
  • Evaluate AI-generated answers and flag errors, missing information, and outdated guidance.
  • Provide clear written feedback while working asynchronously.

  • Location: Open to candidates in the United States.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Experience: Current or recent designation as a passport acceptance agent in a post office, county clerk office, library, or similar setting.

About AI training work

AI training work uses human judgment to improve how artificial intelligence responds. In this role, your passport acceptance knowledge helps assess model answers and identify errors that could make guidance less useful or accurate.

How OpenTrain AI pays and hires

OpenTrain says it is free for freelancers, with no fees or subscriptions. Clients fund each milestone before work starts, and OpenTrain pays out to your connected payout method when the client approves the milestone. It doesn't publish a fixed payout schedule.
